New legislation will come into force on 6 April 2019 concerning the information which must be shown on payslips.
It will be a legal requirement to show the number of hours being paid, where wages vary according to the time worked. This can be a single aggregate amount, or separate amounts for different types of work or different rates of pay.
The new rules, which are an amendment of the Employment Rights Act 1996, do not apply to wages or salary paid in respect of work carried out before 6 April 2019.
For more information on implementing the changes at your compant, please get in touch.
