We provide straightforward, practical, strategic and common-sense advice to help you deal with any employment issues that arise in your business.
ELSS is bespoke for your business, and here are some of the queries we regularly advise on:

- Flexible working arrangements
- Discrimination

- Contract and handbook amendments

- Long-term and short-term sickness absence including returns to work
- Settlement agreements
Cost
The cost of ELSS will depend entirely on your business needs and structure, with the option to pay annually or by instalments.
The scheme can include:
- Unlimited access to specialist employment law advice up to ACAS pre claim conciliation and/or Employment Tribunal Proceedings being issued;
- Transfer of Undertaking (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 or responding to data subject access requests from employees or former employees;
- Direct access to your employment specialist and other team members;
- Quick, helpful and straight-to-the-point bespoke advice;
- Drafting of employment documents including contracts and policies
- Unlimited meetings at our offices or your offices. If your offices are more than 25 miles from our office there will be a limit of two meetings at your offices, without any additional travel and expenses charges;
- Up to two training sessions per year for key personnel;
- Regular updates on employment law changes that affect your business.
Optional MyHR Manager service
MyHR Manager is a HR software package that can be used by you and your employees. This can cover many aspects and you can decide what is and is not included in the software you use.
Absence management and data storage and collection can be essential to the smooth running of any business, and this is just one of the things that can be used as part of this service.
A demonstration can be arranged if this is of interest to your business either as a standalone service or part of ELSS.
Optional Insurance
Insurance is available to all employers to cover against employment claims by employees. There are different levels of cover available whereby you can cover legal costs and/or damages as well or proportions of both. There are also various levels of excess which you can choose, each package is bespoke to the business.
Insurance is supplied through a third party and if you would like to arrange a quote either as part of ELSS or as a standalone policy, we can arrange this. Please speak to one of the team to discuss.
Optional Employee Assistance Programme Access
For an additional cost we can also provide you with services to access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), which can give your employees access to professional, completely confidential counselling services to support their mental health and wellbeing.
A round-the-clock EAP helpline gives your employees access to:

- An in-depth counsellor assessment
- Free advice, information and signposting to further help
- An online interactive mental fitness tool
- Self-help workbooks
- MyMindPal mental fitness techniques
