Thank you to everyone who made a will with us during our Macmillan will promotion in September and October.
The final appointments have been completed, and our generous clients have raised an incredible £9,742. All the money raised will go towards the £2.5 million needed to build the new Macmillan Cancer Centre, currently under construction at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
We were overwhelmed by the level of support, and it was certainly one of the most successful will events we have been involved with. Rob Woodhead, Head of Wills and Probate at BRM Solicitors said:
“The campaign was a huge success, giving people the opportunity to make a will who otherwise may not have done so, whilst at the same time raising awareness of the Cancer Centre Appeal. Many clients chose to donate more than the suggested £54, showing their support for Macmillan’s vital work and the legal service we provided. The money raised will help to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.”
