Strong Twin Site Business Created Following Sale Of Peppermint Press
In a recently completed deal, Clay Cross printing company, Peppermint Press, has been sold to Worksop-based Bayliss Printing Company, creating a very strong marketing-led Digital and Litho twin site printing business trading as Bayliss Peppermint.
The new company retains all of Peppermint’s existing staff and an enviable client base, including many well-known names and brands. A schedule of investment and expansion is planned for the next year to meet ever increasing demand.
Cathy Thomas, a Commercial Property Solicitor at BRM, along with Company Commercial Solicitor Anna Cattee advised Peppermint through the negotiations.
Norman Hill of Bayliss Peppermint Printing said:
“Working with Anna and Cathy at BRM was a joy. They are both very professional and although many parts of the negotiations and warranties in particular where very complex they led me through this minefield with ease.
Cathy advised me right at our first meeting that Building Certification could delay the process and how correct she was, however with her guidance we somehow got everything in place.
Anna forewarned me that the warranties could be the difficult part of the negotiations.
I didn’t understand what she was talking about, but she was absolutely correct…and at one stage I thought I could do all this myself!”
Anna Cattee, Company Commercial Solicitor at BRM said:
“It was a pleasure to work with Norman during the sale of Peppermint. There were some challenging aspects to the deal but we were able to help Norman overcome these and achieve the outome he wanted.
My colleagues and I look forward to seeing the continuing sucesss of the business in the capable hands of Bayliss.”
