James began his career at national law firm Irwin Mitchell in 2003, moving on to Hemingway’s Solicitors in 2014, taking up the role of Head of Property Litigation at regional firm Taylor & Emmet in 2015.
James joined BRM’s Sheffield office in April 2018 and is a Director at the firm.
Specialising in all aspects of both commercial and residential property litigation, James has advised international property developers, banks, listed companies, high street retailers, universities, managing agents and independent landlords in relation to all of their property issues.
James also manages and supervises BRM’s debt recovery department.
Outside of work, James is a keen follower of most sports and sometimes he even participates.
